Malaysia Air Pollution Index 3.4.7

The Malaysia Air Pollution Index (API) app provides users with up-to-date air quality index readings for Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.

**NOTE: Air quality index readings for Malaysia are sourced from the Department of Environment Malaysia and computed based on a 24-hour average of PM10 concentration levels. Visit the DOE website at http://apims.doe.gov.my/v2.

**NOTE: Air quality index readings for Singapore are provided by the National Environment Agency Singapore and calculated based on a 24-hour average of PM2.5 concentration levels. Access the NEA website at http://www.nea.gov.sg/.

**NOTE: Air quality index readings for Indonesia are furnished by the Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, Dan Geofikasi Indonesia and determined based on PM10 concentration levels. Refer to the BMKG website at http://www.bmkg.go.id/BMKG_Pusat/Kualitas_Udara/Informasi_Partikulat.bmkg.

Guide

• To access the API history for each area:
  1. Select either the "NEAREST" or "MY AREA" tab and click on the color box.
  2. In the "LIST" tab, click on the respective list item.
  3. For the "MAP" tab, click on the marker followed by the info window.

• Ability to share API value (long press an item under LIST and select Share).

• Storage permission (required to save API data on internal storage).
• Hardware controls (such as vibrating when receiving notifications).
