The Malaysia Air Pollution Index (API) app provides users with up-to-date air quality index readings for Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.
**NOTE: Air quality index readings for Malaysia are sourced from the Department of Environment Malaysia and computed based on a 24-hour average of PM10 concentration levels. Visit the DOE website at <a href="http://apims.doe.gov.my/v2">http://apims.doe.gov.my/v2</a>.
**NOTE: Air quality index readings for Singapore are provided by the National Environment Agency Singapore and calculated based on a 24-hour average of PM2.5 concentration levels. Access the NEA website at <a href="http://www.nea.gov.sg/">http://www.nea.gov.sg/</a>.
**NOTE: Air quality index readings for Indonesia are furnished by the Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, Dan Geofikasi Indonesia and determined based on PM10 concentration levels. <li>To access the API history for each area:
 <ol>
 <li>Select either the "NEAREST" or "MY AREA" tab and click on the color box.</li>
 <li>In the "LIST" tab, click on the respective list item.</li>
 <li>For the "MAP" tab, click on the marker followed by the info window.</li>
 </ol>

<li>Nearby index reading based on user location or preferred area API reading.</li>
<li>List of all available readings in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.</li>
<li>Visualization of readings on the map.</li>
<li>Display of index history for each region.</li>
<li>Graphic representation of index history for each area.</li>
<li>Hourly updates.</li>
<li>Widget showcasing the nearest area based on current location or user-preferred area index reading.</li>
<li>Notification alerts for index readings exceeding 100 (requires widget placement on the home screen).</li>
<li>Approximate distance between current location and monitoring station/area displayed.</li>
<li>Ability to share API value (long press an item under LIST and select Share).</li>
</ul>

<li>Network communication (for loading ads, maps, and location services).</li>
<li>User Location access (for maps and location services).</li>
<li>Storage permission (required to save API data on internal storage).</li>
<li>Hardware controls (such as vibrating when receiving notifications).</li>
